SuperSize WaterBags™ are a water inﬂatable dams that are used as a temporary method

to divert water at a construction site creating a dry work area. They are a cost effective alternative to conventional damming methods.

The SuperSize WaterBags ™, developed and manufactured by Aqua Control Inc, is an innovative low-cost designed as a temporary dam to help meet water restraintrequirements with easy installation, effective usage, and moderate maintenance. The SuperSize WaterBags ™ blocks and restraints rivers, stream/creek by blocking water, oil, grease, trash, and sediment. The SuperSize WaterBags ™ is ideal for municipal, industrial, and construction applications. Water inﬂated dams are not intended for high water overﬂow areas (however these dams can withstand more pressure than standard irrigation tu-bing)

Specifications

The SuperSize WaterBags ™ is made of a high strength Flexible

Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC) woven from UV treated

polypropylene, available to meet the specific Safety Working Load

requirements for your specifications. Bag Specifications of (A)

L=36 x W=36 x H=63 inches for a maximum weight of 2200 lbs.

or (B) L=36 x H=36 x H=72 inches for a maximum weight of

3000 lbs. with a top spout for easy filling and a bottom spout foreasy emptying. Each SuperSize WaterBag has 4 Yellow Lift Loopssewn into the top of the bag for lifting into place, with 4 heavy dutysewn yellow cord tie closures on each side. Cross-Linked

Polyacrylamide (SAP), a water absorbing polymer with a proven life

span of 6 years and absorbs up to 400 times it's weight in water or48 gallons of rainwater per pound of SAP is used to provide astabilizing absorbent gel within the SuperSize WaterBags™. Normally

the Cross-Linked Polyacrylamide (SAP) is used as a method to reduce

soil erosion and in landscaping to absorb the moisture and then slowlyreleasing it into the soil and roots of plants,

Site Constraints/ Installation Requirements

The SuperSize WaterBags™ are easily installed in approximately less than one hour. Openthe SuperSize WaterBag™ - add SAP powder through the top spout, add water from thestream/creek with the use of a pump and hose. Add more SAP powder when the bag is halffull and continue filling. Add the balance of the SAP powder after the bag is filled, to stabilizethe gel.

The SuperSize WaterBags™ can then be placed in the stream/creek and attached to eachother by the easy use of Jumbo extra heavy duty ties. These 18-inch ties have a tensile strengthof 250 lbs. Each bag has 4 yellow cord tie strips with 6 grommets tie holes each. Use the ties to attach each SuperSize WaterBags™ together to form a dam.
